Festival Poetry

2018 Festival in A Factory Day 2. 8th June 2018 Emma Bridgewater Factory Hanley, Stoke on Trent The West Midlands poetry panel

Poetry has fast become a real highlight of the Festival in a Factory programme. For 2019 we’re delighted to host a free, drop-in programme of poetry performances happening in and around the Factory courtyard. Check out the Box Office blackboards to find out what’s happening where and when.  This year we’ll be welcoming brilliant local poets including Stoke-on-Trent Poet Laureate Stephen Seabridge , Gabriella Gay and former Staffordshire Poet Laureate Bert Flitcroft, the fantastic Poetry Takeaway and young writers aged 8 to 14 from the city who meet regularly at the Factory as part of the Spark Young Writers initiative from Writing West Midlands.
